Every good and perfect gift comes from the Lord. Lord, thank you for opening our eyes to a new day! As our feet hit the floor may the ground we walk on become blessed – leaving trails of goodness in every place. May your word remain upon our hearts – may it be the truth by which we live. Today Lord, we rise, go and are purposed to climb higher!
Good Morning Lovelies
The night before Thanksgiving, preparing to work the night shift, contemplating when even to begin cooking. Nothing like the sweet aroma of pies cooking and all types of delicious delicacies. Turkey, yams, stuffing all sound pleasing to my ears and even cause a little salivating to occur within my mouth. It will be the first Thanksgiving holiday residing in my new state of residence, and I had every intention to go home. When work calls, we just have to answer the call. As I think about it, holidays are when I most often wished I lived closer to my family. Still, I am excited. Excited to make new memories in which to share with my children. I am grateful! I choose gratefulness because it is something I try to live by every single day and not just one day out of the year. I’m thankful even to have this day or any day for that matter.
I think about the ones who may have experienced loss or ones who may not have any close relatives nearby in which to share this time. Holiday’s are not considered a joyous occasion for everybody, and somehow that fact always humbles me to not for one-second take for granted anything that I do have. It is my prayer that everyone feels a little love this day and every day. That means we must stretch ourselves a little more to show people that they matter and someone cares. Take some time out of your celebration and reach out to somebody, maybe that older adult who lives alone, that neighbor that has lost a loved one, etc. The possibilities are endless. Show you care!
No matter where I am spending my holiday I appreciate the life that God gives. I am grateful for all God continues to bestow upon my life, his mercy, his love his gift. I am also thankful for the food that will cover my table for the 3 of us. I even thank God for you. To the person that is reading this. Your life matters and you are important. If you find this time of year trying, I send you good vibes and well wishes for a blessed day. May something beautifully unexpected comes your way. May joy rise within you not just for this holiday but for every single day.
But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up on wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
Today you have an opportunity to trust God. To give him every single part of your life. It’s the opportunity to see him work in your life and to witness his faithfulness over your life. He provides the strength to carry you through. If you would operate in this principle you will be renewed in strength and you will do the things you thought you couldn’t. Say today I will discover how to trust God!

The man who trust in the Lord, whose confidence indeed is the Lord, is blessed. Jeremiah 17:7
Saturday Thought: we are blessed in every way. May the blessed reach out to be a blessing unto the world. We can go confidently and bodly forward knowing our God is with us. God our strength and stronghold – we trust your plan for our life. We know in you there is a hope and a future. When we seek you – we find you. When we knock – you open doors. When we ask you always answer us. Today it is that faith that carries us – we are steadfast knowing he who is the great orchestrator – Is continually at work in and through us! May we grasp hold of how blessed we truly are today and always.
In all things we are more than victorious – through him who loved us Romans 8:37
Is there something in your life that you need victory in? Have you been patiently waiting? Oftentimes we wait for something to happen and we decide we will change our perspective when our view changes. Actually scripture reminds us that in all things you are more than victorious. That means you already have victory. You may not be able to see it yet – but if you change your perspective – eventually your view will catch up. As his child – God is continually at work in your life – he foreknew and predestined. So as you go about your day – know the joy of the Lord is your strength and victory is yours in every encounter – every circumstance, every relationship, every season, etcetera! God’s got this – that blessed assurance you can count on! Be Blessed on today!
Do you believe that you can fly? Actually do you believe that you can soar? I know your probably scratching your head wondering about what I’m talking about. No, I reckon you don’t have wings on your back. Gravity would bring you back down to lower ground if you leaped from a high place to see if you could stay in air. No – I really wouldn’t want you to try that. Please leave the stunts for stunt men. Yes, you really can fly. You can rise above the mediocrity of life. You can learn to do things that were once foreign to you. Most of our hindrances would you believe starts within our mind? We have been trained to think and behave a certain way. Remember being given a picture that was already drawn for you? Your only job was to color within the lines. Learning to live within limits was taught very young.
Why do we limit ourselves when we serve a limitless God? The Bible tells us that through him – all things are possible. Maybe this is worth repeating ” All things.” What would it take for us to grasp this truth? Perhaps we need to view our God as more than enough. The supplier of our needs. This basic truth tells us who the guider and director of our life is. He being all knowing – has infinite power and intelligence. The good news is you have access to it.
If you could soar where would you go? How does it look? Remove what you see and replace it with what you desire, but have yet to see. Change all of your I can’ts, if only, it’s not possible and replace with I can, I will, it’s possible. Retrain thinking patterns that hinder you – for more powerful propellant ones. Fuel yourself with things that will give you lift. Make your mind obey and stay in step with the truth of God.
Step out upon the ledge – I see your wings spreading that will take you places you have yet to see.
Sunday’s Declaration: I am made to soar and rise above. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. My thoughts are powerful – my walk is powerful. Greatness resides within me. My wings are are ready!
